Perhaps one of the most comments we come across during discussions with our clients is that they have been told that they would need to use a web designer to change the content of their websites.In deed, some web designers actually sell this as an 'added service' whereby their clients pay to have some text changed or added to a site and some photos added as well. Now, in the case of an Estate Agent or e-commerce business that has multiple product lines this would become expensive, slow and unpractical. So let us clear this issue up.

It's quick and it's easy to do!

Firstly, this issue is to do with Content Management. In otherwords, the administration of the content of a website. The overwhelming majority of our clients have this ability with the websites we design for them. So, they can with a few clicks of a mouse and the typing of the text they want the changes are made. There is no emailing web designers, no paying for services and no waiting around.

 

No knowledge of the internet is required

But do our clients typically have good knowledge of IT and the internet? The answer is no. In the main, they are at normal user level of the internet, i.e. they can find things online and send emails. No more. So how is it done? It is done by using the administration suite that we design to meet your needs or more technically it is your own Content Management System. To date, none of our clients have ever needed special training to use it and therefore administer their own sites and all agree that the level of complexity is the same as sending an email. We design these systems with our clients in mind.

So, in conclusion, it is something that you can do without any web designers help and furthermore, you don't need to be an IT expert to do so.
